Nick Hardinges
Nick Hardinges is a journalist from Kent, England, based in London. Prior to Snopes, he worked as a fact-checker at Reuters, where he covered a range of misinformation topics, such as conspiracy theories about so-called “15-minute cities” and heart issues in professional athletes. He contributed to the Reuters World News podcast, along with external podcasts, and co-hosted presentations about how to combat misinformation to overseas journalists. Hardinges also worked as a digital news editor at U.K.-based radio station LBC, where he worked beside some of the country’s biggest names in radio. He was an intern reporter at his local TV station, KMTV, after graduating with distinction in multimedia journalism at the University of Kent. Hardinges loves playing rugby league for the Medway Dragons, following his favorite bands in venues across the capital, and agonizing over his favorite soccer team, West Ham United.
