Stephanie Larsen
Stephanie Larsen is a former writer for Snopes. A retired public administrator, Larsen spent 25 years working in state and local government in Arizona and California. Her primary areas of expertise were law and justice issues and governmental budgeting. She earned a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Larsen insists that Star Trek is far superior to Star Wars, and currently parks her starships in both California and Maryland.
