In 2017, we traveled to Sweden to investigate viral claims that the country was besieged by crime due to a sudden influx of refugees in 2015. We researched the following questions: Is Sweden the “rape capital” of the world?; are refugee men over-represented in Swedish crime?; and, does Sweden have ‘no-go zones’ where the police can’t enter?
