Within days of a U.S. drone strike that killed Iran Gen. Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad, a video supposedly documenting the attack went viral on social media and quickly racked up tens of thousands of views.
Some viewers were no doubt convinced it was real, but as Snopes reporter Dan Evon found out, what the footage shows isn’t even a real drone strike, much less the drone strike that took out Soleimani.
