Social media fraudsters continue to capitalize on the sudden death of basketball star Kobe Bryant in a helicopter crash last month by publishing misinformation about his family.

First it was falsely claimed in a bogus BBC News video that Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, had committed suicide over the loss of her husband and their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, in the Jan. 26 crash.

Two weeks later another fraudulent video appeared on Facebook claiming that another of their daughters, Natalia, had also committed suicide. Dan Evon reports on the latest boldfaced attempt to profit from a family tragedy.
