In the wake of U.S. President Donald Trump’s joint appearances with Italian President Sergio Mattarella on Wednesday, a number of Trump’s critics claimed on social media that he had mispronounced his counterpart’s name as “Mozzarella” — which, of course, is a variety of Italian cheese.

Curiously, although video of these events was readily available, none of the people making the above claim saw fit to share a clip documenting the gaffe. After poring over the video, it was clear to us why.
