One of the many viral stories making the rounds this week concerns a video of President Donald Trump speaking with NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Christina Koch, who had just performed the first all-female spacewalk outside the International Space Station.
Upon being corrected about a factual inaccuracy, Trump raised his hand to his head, extending his middle finger. To some, he was simply scratching his forehead. To others, he was making a rude gesture.
Reporter Dan MacGuill investigated and found this wasn’t the first time the president made this particular gesture.
