Yesterday we released a new investigation into the Epoch Times-linked outlet named The BL. Our reporting found that it is building a labyrinthine network of pro-Trump Facebook groups administered by fake accounts to artificially inflate its reach, a clear violation of Facebook’s rules. The outlet continues its behavior unabated.
For example, 282 fake account admins for the pro-Trump Facebook empire have been removed since our previous story. Some 450 new fake accounts have replaced them, many filling admin slots. The BL has more than 28 million followers.
Facebook has not responded to our questions.
