Music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs was arrested on Sept. 16, 2024, and indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Prior to his arrest, Combs had a lengthy and lucrative career in the music industry as a producer, rapper and executive despite previous arrests , legal troubles and rape accusations .
In the wake of the Combs' arrest and subsequent trial, Snopes readers passed along a wide variety of rumors about the disgraced rapper looking for verification of their authenticity. Claims ranged from his alleged friendship with U.S. President Donald Trump to odd rumors about his high school yearbook and partying with former Vice President Kamala Harris .
The veracity of these claims runs the gamut from obvious truth to outright falsehoods, but as Diddy's trial continues, it's likely more rumors about the star will emerge. For now, here are 25 of the most popular claims we've fact-checked about Sean "Diddy" Combs since his September 2024 arrest.
