After the U.S. Department of Justice released millions of documents related to the case of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Jan. 30, 2026, rumors about the emails included in the so-called "Epstein Library " multiplied.
The emails revealed details about Epstein's purported ties to powerful people, including President Donald Trump , Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Harry Potter author JK Rowling . This, in turn, fueled speculation that the disgraced financier was at the heart of a massive conspiracy.
