Two months after the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, his widow, Erika Kirk, remains the subject of claims with varying degrees of accuracy circulating online. These include unsupported allegations about her personal and professional life, attempts to tie her to political figures without evidence and rumors that exploit her husband's death to push unfounded conspiracy theories.
For instance, a recurring rumor on social media has claimed that Erika Kirk, who is now CEO of Turning Point USA, was pregnant with the couple's third child. However, as of this writing, there was no evidence to support that claim.
Another cluster of rumors centered on her interactions with U.S. Vice President JD Vance. In early November 2025, social media users shared spoofed images that appeared to show Erika Kirk embracing Vance onstage while standing on a coffin — digitally altered versions of a real hug the two exchanged during a Turning Point USA event on Oct. 29, 2025. We did, however, verify that she later said she would face less hate if she had touched Vance's backside, a remark she made while addressing criticism of their hug.
