Snopes previously rounded up 25 fact checks about tech billionaire Elon Musk. Since then, claims have only continued to spread as he's become a prominent figure in the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Indeed, we're constantly fact-checking rumors about Musk, including whether he once said Italians should stay in Italy (false ) and whether he once said Americans would experience "temporary hardship" due to his and Trump's plan to curb government spending (correct attribution ).
