U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina, has frequently captured headlines since entering Congress in 2021. This has been especially true since President Donald Trump's 2024 campaign, during which she rose to prominence for her loud support of Trump and her attacks on transgender women.

After losing South Carolina's 2026 Republican primary for governor, Mace announced (archived) she would not seek a fourth term in Congress.
