Don't fall for Trump tirade against voters for electing Democrats in November 2025

Social media users have repeatedly shared fake Truth Social posts attributed to the president.

While U.S. President Donald Trump is a prolific Truth Social user, numerous screenshots of posts attributed to him online are fabrications. Trump uses the platform to share his opinions and policy proposals, and sometimes even to spread false information.

But in multiple instances, social media users' assumptions about Trump's posts were wrong. For example, the U.S. president did not use a slur on Truth Social to describe Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, nor did Trump post that he was "no longer interested in having Canada as the 51st state." He also did not post about talking to Jesus, nor did he write this post calling himself "the KING."

To determine what Trump is saying on the platform, Snopes often uses Trump's Truth, a website that makes it easier to find the president's Truth Social posts — including deleted ones.

Below are recent examples of fake Truth Social posts attributed to Trump.
