About this rating

An image purporting to show a new Ben & Jerry's ice cream released to commemorate President Donald Trump (called "ImPeachMint") appeared on social media shortly after the 2016 presidential election, and circulated widely thereafter:

This is not as farfetched as it might seem at first glance; founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield have advocated for political causes in the past, released politically-inspired ice cream flavors, and the company has put out several statements about Trump's presidency. However, this particular ice cream does not appear in the company's list of flavors on its web site.

President Trump was not the first President to get his own spoof "ImPeachMint" ice cream. In 2013, Mad magazine shared an image showing President Barack Obama on the "ImPeachMint" label:

Neither of these ice creams were offcially produced by Ben & Jerry's.
