About this rating

Since early 2024, a rumor has circulated online that conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel once posted details about their sex lives on X. Born in 1990, the twins made their TV debut on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 1996 and later starred in the TLC reality series "Abby & Brittany" in 2012.

One example of the claim appeared on social media on April 12 when an X user shared (archived) an image allegedly showing the Hensels posting on the X account @2HeadsAreBetter. The image featured a photo of the pair in a wedding dress next to a man wearing a suit. The bottom of the image showed a screenshot of a purported post in which the Hensels revealed information about their sex lives, including how one sister occupies herself while the other participates in sex. Reddit users also shared the screenshot of the alleged post on the same day.

A reverse-image search revealed past results showing users sharing versions of the image on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok and X

However, the Hensels did not post the message displayed in the X post, nor did they own the @2HeadsAreBetter account handle. The X account @2HeadsAreBetter — a real handle with no association to the Hensels — has remained inactive since at least 2020.

The Hensels did not yet respond to a request for comment via their TikTok account specifically asking if they wished to share any remarks about the rumor.

More about the Hensels and the rumor

The Facebook page Things You Don't See Everyday with Chris Taliaferro possibly first posted (archived) a version of the image featuring the fake screenshot on March 30, 2024. A manager for the page has not yet responded to a question sent via Messenger asking whether they created the image.

Three days before the fake post image appeared on the Facebook page, Today.com reported news of Abby Hensel marrying nurse and U.S. Army veteran Josh Bowling in 2021. The article also said the twins teach fifth grade and live in Minnesota where they were born and raised.

Regarding their biological makeup, the reporting from Today.com said Abby and Brittany are dicephalus conjoined twins and share a bloodstream and all organs below the waist, with Abby controlling their right arm and leg and Brittany controlling the left side.

According to Us Weekly, the Hensels manage a TikTok account under the handle @abbyandbrittanyhensel. Past postings feature photos of Abby, Brittany and Bowling.

In late March 2024, after several online publishers reported on Abby's and Bowling's 2021 marriage, the twins posted a video directed at "the haters," generating one of TikTok's AI voices to read the words, "This is a message to all the haters out there. If you don't like what I do but you watch everything I'm doing, you're still a fan."

More videos posted by the twins can be found on their TikTok account.
