Posts claim Polaroids of Trump and Epstein with young females are real. They're wrong

Some of the posts circulating the images inaccurately reported they came from official releases of Jeffrey Epstein files.

Claim:
An image authentically shows four Polaroid photos of U.S. President Donald Trump and the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein with young females.
Rating:
Fake

About this rating

Amid renewed scrutiny into U.S. President Donald Trump's ties to the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, an image allegedly showing two Polaroid photos of Trump alongside partially dressed young females circulated online.

The images spread on Threads, Facebook and X. Some of the posts included two additional polaroids supposedly showing Epstein with young females. Other posts specified that the pictures were "not photoshopped, not AI-generated," including this screenshot sent in by a Snopes reader that circulated online

Not AI, not photoshopped, just an old photo taken from the Epstein archives. There's a special place in HELL Damn, he's determined to make it disappear so it never gets exposed

However, the alleged Polaroids showed several signs they were generated with artificial intelligence (AI). As such, we have rated this claim as fake.

A closer look at the faces of Trump and Epstein in these images show deformities, such as a missing portion of Trump's chin and a missing eye on Epstein:

In one of the images, Trump's hand appeared to have six fingers and one of the girl's hands was missing:

Additionally, a reverse-image search via Google determined this image had appeared only on social media and not on any reputable news sites. If these purported photos came from legitimate sources, such as Epstein's estate or a release from U.S. House Oversight Democrats, news outlets would have certainly covered them.

Some of the posts circulating the fake images claimed that the photos came from Epstein emails released by U.S. House Oversight Democrats or other official releases — but if that was the case, the women's faces would have been redacted to protect their privacy, as in other released images

"Committee Democrats are committed to protecting the identities of the survivors," a Dec. 12 House Oversight news release said about the photos.

Snopes has debunked several photos of Trump and Epstein purportedly with young women and girls. However, there are legitimate images of the two together, including this one from 1997. As we have previously reported, the two men shared social circles and their relationship has long been the subject of public scrutiny
