Her work began in the political sphere as a legislative correspondent for Cascade PBS and took her overseas as a reporter for the Jordan Times in Amman, Jordan, before she landed at Snopes as a fact-checker. She holds a journalism degree from the University of Washington with minors in human rights and law, societies, and justice.
