Did ABC, CBS, and NBC Black Out Pam Bondi's Legal Defense of Trump?

Bondi's DOJ tenure has given rise to widespread misinformation — much of it directed at the attorney general herself.

Since she took her place as the head of the U.S. Department of Justice in February 2025, Attorney General Pam Bondi — who previously served as Florida's attorney general for more than eight years — has been the subject of dozens of misleading and false claims.

A longtime supporter of Trump, their history goes back to 2013, when his foundation made a $25,000 donation to a political committee backing Bondi — a move he later said was a mistake.

Her politically-charged tenure has generated a slew of online misinformation, much of it directed at the attorney general herself. Below are 19 misleading or false claims; for example, whether an image depicts a 14-year-old Bondi with Trump, whether she held an Israeli passport, whether she fired a DOJ employee for having a copy of the U.S. Constitution on his desk, and more.
