On May 11, 2026, many people online noticed increased activity on U.S. President Donald Trump's Truth Social account. While Trump is known for posting inflammatory statements on the site, social media users were surprised by the frequency of his posts that started at 10:14 p.m. EDT and continued into the early morning May 12.
Robert Reich, a Trump critic and former secretary of labor under President Bill Clinton, shared a long list of Trump's purported Truth Social posts, claiming Trump had published 55 posts in three hours. Snopes readers also consulted our website to determine whether Trump published this many posts.
Reich added:
His posts included nonsensical AI slop, unhinged conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, and rants that his political enemies committed treason.
Not that anyone needs a reminder but this man has the nuclear codes.
Trump is unwell, and he is a danger to us all.
